trevhoi2 In an effort to create sustainable environments, reclaimed wood is being used in a variety of inventive ways.  At the moment, I am loving the use of reclaimed wood as wall panels.  On a trip to the Stone Source showroom, I discovered the addition of reclaimed wood to their inventory.  Stone Source teamed up with a family owned mill to create custom wood textures.  And they are stunning!  The pictures below don't do them justice.  I just can't wait to use them in a project, especially the New England Hemlock Bearwood (see close up below).

Since Stone Source only sells to the trade, you will need to work with a designer in order to purchase their products.  Another source for reclaimed wood is Elmwood Reclaimed Timber.  They have an amazing selection.  The following image illustrates their Elk Ridge Rustic paneling.  I love this idea of creating a modern cabin feel within the home.  For more Elmwood products, check out their website.
